These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Gorilla POSwebsite and platform (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
Gorilla POS is a cloud-based point-of-sale and operations platform for laundromats and other service businesses. It includes order management, reporting, machine maintenance, delivery and route tools, memberships, staff tools, and Gorilla AI features. We may add, modify, or discontinue features over time.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
3. Payment Terms
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance at the rate for your selected plan, plus any add-ons.
- Plans include a 14-day free trial. No setup fee is charged.
- Fees are billed automatically to your payment method on each renewal date. You authorize us to charge applicable fees and taxes.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend the Service until the balance is resolved.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals; your Service remains active through the end of the current billing period.
5. Refund Policy

6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to, and not to permit others to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose, or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Access or attempt to access the Service or its systems without authorization, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including by introducing malware or overloading our infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law.
- Upload content that infringes the rights of others or that is unlawful, harmful, or objectionable.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications in violation of applicable anti-spam or telemarketing laws.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you enter and for ensuring you have the necessary consents to process it.
7. Service Level & Availability
We target 99.9% monthly uptimefor the Service, excluding scheduled maintenance (for which we aim to provide advance notice) and events outside our reasonable control. While we work hard to keep the Service available, the Service is provided on an “as available” basis, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Data Ownership
You own your data.As between you and us, you retain all rights to the customer, order, and operational data you submit to the Service (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and use Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy. You may export your data at any time while your account is active. We do not sell your Customer Data.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms (including the Acceptable Use Policy), fail to pay fees when due, or use the Service in a way that creates legal or security risk. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we will make Customer Data available for export for a limited period before deletion, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gorilla POSand its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The Service is operated from the United States.
12. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at legal@gorillapos.com so we can try to resolve the dispute informally. If we cannot resolve a dispute within 30 days, the dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Connecticut, and you consent to venue in those courts. Each party is responsible for its own costs except as a court may otherwise award.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
